The University no longer receives commissions based on number of accounts, but rather receives annual royalty payments.


The Florida State University shares the Department of Education’s objectives of transparency and accountability concerning the disclosure of financial account options for student banking partnerships. Beginning July 2, 2016, the University will publish the full contract with Truist bank, our partner in student banking, for review.

FSU/Truist Banking Agreement: Banking Agreement Documentation

Florida State University and Truist have partnered to bring you optional added banking convenience with your linked FSUCard. You can choose to open an account and you can choose to link that account to your FSUCard for banking access. Both optional services are available for your convenience. 

Beginning July 1, 2017, the University will publish the major features/commonly assessed fees associated with student banking accounts with Truist.

The Department of Education's (ED) Cash Management regulations 34 CFR 668.164(d)(4)(1)(8)(2) (issued October 2015), requires institutions participating in T2 (Campus Card) arrangements to list and identify the major features and commonly assessed fees as well as a URL for the terms and conditions of each financial account offered under the arrangement.
